The idea of Nublo Roboten started in 2016 as I tried to start a synth punk band with some friends, to which I was the lead singer. After several failed attempts to make the band work, I decided to quit and start composing music by myself in my bedroom.

These songs were put together when I was exploring with sounds and music genres. I need to clarify that all these tracks were recorded and generated using a computer and a tablet, so there is no analog value behind them.

The music was composed and recorded between the years 2017 and 2018 and, the lyrics and voices were added later on. I want to share these 6 tracks and expose my raw/naked ideas of what I thought I was going to be doing in the future.

Thanks to my twin brother, Max Chang, for providing me with the photo for the cover and the text in Chinese (jī qì rén yú wù lǐ), which means “a robot that lives in the fog”, the meaning of the name Nublo Roboten.
